Are we really free if our every behavior is the child of values we have absorbed from the culture in which we grew up?

I am Emanuele ‘Renton’ Fortunati, artist, spiritual researcher, disobedient human being.
In this space, I share thoughts, questions, and revelations born from my work in the studio:
paintings channelled from the spiritual world, symbols that touch the strings of the unconscious and dialogue with those who look at them.
I call it Diary of a Disobedient because it is my way of recounting what happens behind the spiritual scenes of my art.
I talk about freedom, energetic identity, and the courage to break with roles in order to return to one's essence.
Over the years, I have come to understand that awakening involves two specific acts:
Here you will find visceral reflections, channelled symbols, fragments of freedom.
And perhaps, a piece of your own journey.
Are we really free if our every behavior is the child of values we have absorbed from the culture in which we grew up?
If every choice we make is based on a morality resulting from the culture in which we live, are we really free to choose for ourselves?
True success lies not only in results, but in the ability to live and savor every moment of the journey.
If you didn't learn to disobey as a child, when you're an adult you accept anything. You accept everything, until there's nothing left of you.
We human beings live a routine life, closed in a fence called status quo…
and even when we sense that real life begins right outside that fence… we continue to obey and remain holed up in the ordinary.
The Soul speaks to us with symbols:learning to read and interpret them is essential if you want to live in alignment with your Soul.
A person eats and drinks to fill the body, expresses his creativity to fill the Soul. To discover oneself.
Meeting my Soul made me realize that we all have tremendous talents that are hidden in what makes us different and unique.
And that accessing those talents requires connecting with oneself on a level beyond the mental level.
My path has given me the realization that embracing one's diversity is the only way to truly be well. And to realize oneself.
Being disobedient means loving our own diversity and respecting the diversity of others.
And it means taking responsibility for bringing about changes that make this world a little better than we found it.
