As an artist, it is very important to me to keep growing and evolving, both in my style and the message I want to share with my art.

Problem is, too often I fall into the belief that to improve I “just” need to keep painting, and perhaps become more proficient on specific areas of my technique. 

But that’s not completely true, and I need to keep remind myself that to grow as an artist I have to keep growing as a human being. I think only by going deeper and deeper into myself I can then go higher and higher in my art. 

Too often though, I forget about this important aspect, too busy trying to paint as much as I can.
